Wow. We found this place on Google as our usual place in Courmayeur was closed for the day and we struck gold. The location is amazing, a homely traditional dining room with a view to die for, the welcome from the staff and the service overall was 5 star (they are happy to make menu recommendations) and the food is very tasty. Do yourself a favour if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed

Was recommended this beautiful restaurant by a local and wow, were they right on. Insane views, really relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices, and an absolutely wonderful dining experience. Perfect zero day activity from hiking the TMB. The hike up and down from city center was really nice- took a beautiful detour through forest trails to shortcut the large hairpin road turn and it was just the right kind of fun local experience. Godere!

TL;DR: you don’t want to miss this one. It’s definitely worth the short travel from town. One of the best food experience we had in Italy. Food was excellent with traditional local recipes and ingredients. Owner and staff were extremely friendly, and we even got a ride back to the hotel! Beside the delicious food the wine was also very good and local.

One of the most enjoyable dinners I've ever had. The location is at the end of a mountain road over looking Courmayeur with a view of Monte Bianco and other peaks. The dinning area is beautifully appointed with Alpine style. And that was only the beginning of an amazing meal. Everyone that works there was a pleasure to meet and interact with. But, the best part of it all was the food! The appetizers were incredible I highly recommend trying the picked onions. The Ermitage Special was amazing, the gratin was served hot and had what tasted to me like a hint of nutmeg. The Broccoli Rabe Flan tasted like everything you want Broccoli Rabe to taste like but in a silky smooth texture. The mains dishes, veal and rabbit stews were wonderful. The meat was flavorful with a rich stew stock that paired perfectly with the star of the meal, Aosta Valley style polenta served on the side in its own (not so small) small crockware bowl. Then the freshly made Raspberry Tart tasted like eating freshly picked raspberries paired with the best butter cookies. I know the tart was made fresh because earlier in the morning I saw the owner carrying two large flats of fresh raspberries. The Chocolate Salami was also an amazing dessert, not sickeningly sweet, just a perfect flavor of rich chocolate. I will never forget this meal and hope to return someday to enjoy a meal here again!
